That is precisely how Hafez Assad, Syria's Dictator is repaying the world's
overtures and offers of peace. The world has been appeasing this serial killer
for years. Allowed him to rule in tyranny, impoverish Syria, and occupy and
pillage Lebanon since 1975. He has killed, wounded and maimed, over a quarter
million Lebanese. He killed thousands of Palestinians, Syrians, and Israelis. He
has established a reign of terror through a KGB-like police state for 30 years.
Today, the Butcher of Damascus continues his Ethnic Cleansing of Lebanon.
Syria's Hitler has also murdered hundreds of Americans and international
citizens through his state sponsored terrorism; the Beirut marine barracks
attack, the blowing up of the US/French and Arab Embassies, not to forget the
orchestration of the famous western hostages saga of the Eighties.
The US and the world has given Assad undeserved respect. If the current world
order is to earn any respect in our Middle East, then it must oppose and
eradicate the Evil Assad dictatorship, its rule of terror, and its flagrant
violations of human rights. The Arab leaders and regimes who rushed last week to
support Assad and Hizbollah are Hypocrites and unworthy peace partners. They
claim to support peace while promoting the unwarranted spilling of Lebanese and
Israeli blood, just to serve the interest of the Butcher of Damascus.
What does Hafez Assad of Syria want? He wants the totality of the Golan, which
he used pre 67 to shell the Galilee. He wants the world to accept his
assimilation and absorption of Lebanon. He wants a guarantee that his son Bashar
will inherit him and continue the Alawite Dictatorship. He wants to be portrayed
as the holder of Honor of the Arabs and the rejectionist front. He wants to
remain an intimate friend of the mother of all TerroFanaticism; Iran. He wants
billions of dollars but as the ultimate hypocrite and coward, he does not want
it shown that he is publicly asking for it. He sadistically continues to spill
the blood of the Lebanese and Israelis despite numerous open offers for peace
and handshakes of friendship.
What is he willing to offer? A cold peace with Israel. The continuation of the
Occupation and Genocide of the Lebanese people. A totalitarian rule that
violates every decency in the human spirit. Threats, blackmail, and embezzlement
of Arab regimes, and further retardation of the Middle East. The only tangible
thing he is offering is the silencing of the Hizbollah murder machine, yes
murder and terrorist machine. What else can you call an organization that has
been offered peace yet still chooses war? A brainwashed group of traitors and
mercenaries who are willing to prolong and promote the Syrian occupation of
their homeland, the agony and torture of their people, for no logical reason but
to serve their Dark Lord in Black hearted Damascus. So courageous and rightful
was French Prime minister Jospin, he has witnessed to the truth. Terrorism is
not only the killing of innocent civilians, but also the unwarranted killing of
soldiers when they have given you their handshake of peace. Israel has accepted
peace and publicly declared that it is withdrawing from south Lebanon, which it
initially invaded only in self-defense to protect itself against Palestinian
guerilla incursions which were launched since 1968 from the famous "Fateh Land"
given to the guerillas by the Lebanese government under to the "Cairo Accord".
True Peace requires Courage and Witnessing to the Truth. Enough lies. Enough
compromises with the Devil. We want peace and coexistence in our tortured Middle
East. We want all humans to be respected, cared for, loved and cherished;
regardless of religions, class, race, color, gender, ethnic or national origin.
We want to be Free. To feel and grow our humanity within our num souls. Enough
with hatred, wars, and the waste of human energies and time. We want to join
humanity in its quest for a better world for ourselves and our children. WE WANT
TO LIVE!
The Butcher of Damascus is nothing but a serial killer and it is a shame on the
world to treat him as a statesman. He is below an animal in his savagery, and
above a demon in his treachery.
